We dug out five old hooks of various colors and styles, and Mike spray painted them white.
He was pretty pleased with his solution for painting the various screws for each hook. He poked them through the side of a cardboard box before painting.
Mike then cut a leftover plank from the kids' bathroom counter down to an appropriate size, used his router on the edges, and painted it red...
...with leftover paint from the kids' play kitchen project.
The basket beneath the hooks is for all the non-hanging gear (Cinderella shoes, jewelry in a small drawstring bag, and so on).
The DIY dress-up storage rack fits right in with the rest of the playroom!
